This world is a crazy place. No, I am not talking about what
is going on as I am writing this. But in general. This world throughout history
has been what all generations would call crazy. Maybe not that exact word, but
through out time there has always been something going on that someone, some
society, some culture, some country, some nation has felt was crazy. Again
maybe not that word.
Well let me explain what crazy is to me. Crazy is to me when
things are not going as I believe they should be going. Things feel out of
control. So, when I say the world is crazy. It feels out of control. My goal is
to find a way to make my world feel in control. My world not necessarily the
world. There is no way every single human being can have The World in control.
Why? Because we all have different views of what in control is.
The only thing we can each do is work on our world. How do
we as individuals come together and create a world that is not crazy? The first
step is allowing others to be heard. When we take a step back and listen to
what someone else is saying, really listen, we release the strings that are
holding up the wall of crazy. We do not have to agree with what people are
saying, but we do have to listen. That is the first step.
That being said I am also a big advocate for making sure
what I believe, to be based in facts, not others opinions. When people are
ranting on social media do you take what people say as facts? When you listen
to the news, are you taking what they say as facts? I use to, until I started
listening to several sources. I’m not sure if there ever was a time when we
could believe the news, but I like to think so. The past 20 yrs with the popularity
of social media and our instant news, we have gotten to be a society that takes
things as we see them on FB as facts. Sorry but a 5, 10 or 30 second video of
an incident cannot tell you everything that happened before that video started
running and what happened after. Your emotional reaction to a short video or a
picture on FB, or any social media. Is very powerful in the scope of the vibrational
health of your world. There is so much we can do to heal our “crazy” world. I
believe the first step is not reacting, but rejoicing. Rejoice in knowing that
you are powerful, instead of breaking down, lets build up.
The second step is to truly figure out why we believe what
we believe to be true in our world. Why do you believe what you believe? Is it
because that is what your parents, friends, or family believe? There is a
comfort with sticking with common beliefs. If after you have the courage to
examine your beliefs and you find them to be right for you then by all means
stick to them. Once again, take the time to breath, and research. Don’t take
events on FB, or network news as complete facts. There are hundreds of examples
of this. Know that emotions are extremely powerful and if we allow ours to get
ahead of us we have trouble seeing the Truth.
The third step is the hardest part. Learning to co-exist
with someone, a friend, relative, or even that acquaintance you meet at an
event that sees things, believes things differently than you. That is where
taking care of your world, your inner being comes into play. Learning to allow
others to have a different view point while maintaining a vibration of Love and
understanding. To stop throwing out hate when you disagree with someone. Not
having to get “one up” on someone.
After you have done the work and know your truth and the
facts of the world, which I am not sure we ever know all the facts. We can hand
over the results to God. And hug our fellow travelers, maybe the person next to
you, or on the other side of that computer screen has not done “the work”, to
find their truth and the truth. Lasing out at them only creates a lower
vibration in your world. The goal is to raise the vibration of our world. Find
a place of peace within. That can only be done when we stop hating. If you can’t
find a way to let go of hate, hand it over to God, He will take it and
transmute it to Love. It is not our job to change people, It is our job to love
them.
I want to open the discussion of how we gather, raise and
maintain a vibration of Love. How do we get to respecting each other, no mater
where they are in their lives? That is why I am writing this Blog
Why I invite you to find a way to stop and listen and not
just need to be heard.
